Deputy Minister of Tourism: Mount Bromo facilities ready to serve visitors during Eid holiday
Malang, East Java — Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Tourism (Wamenpar) Ni Luh Puspa has assured that facilities in the Mount Bromo tourism area are ready to serve visitors during the Eid 2026 holiday period.
Deputy Minister Ni Luh, speaking in Malang District, East Java, on Wednesday, stated that the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Authority (TNBTS), which manages the Mount Bromo tourism destination, has made detailed preparations for operational service mechanisms.
“The Ministry of Tourism is present in Malang to assess the readiness of the tourism destination. We have already observed the state of preparedness here, and I wish to express our gratitude to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park authority for completing all preparations,” said Ni Luh Puspa.
The facilities she referred to include access route security, infrastructure and amenities to support tourist needs during their visits, and security mechanisms.
According to her, all these components are crucial in ensuring safety, security, and comfort for all tourists.
She noted that the Mount Bromo area is expected to welcome at least 5,000 or more visitors during the upcoming holiday period.
The Deputy Minister added that smooth tourism operations are not solely the responsibility of the destination management but also that of each local government.
