Deputy Minister of Public Works: People's School Phase II Construction Proceeds According to Schedule
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Public Works (Wamen PU) Diana Kusumastuti has revealed that the progress of the People’s School Phase II construction is proceeding according to the planned stages.
“So far, the progress of the People’s School Phase II construction, carried out by the Ministry of Public Works through the Directorate General of Strategic Infrastructure, is proceeding according to the planned stages. Currently, work at various locations is continuing in parallel, covering the completion of structures, architecture, utilities, and the arrangement of supporting areas,” Diana told ANTARA in Jakarta on Friday.
She stated that the Ministry of Public Works is consistently conducting supervision and intensive coordination with all relevant parties to ensure that implementation in the field remains on schedule, while prioritising aspects of quality, construction safety, and accountability of the work.
As a national priority programme, the construction of the People’s School represents the government’s support in expanding access to decent and quality education for the community.
“Therefore, we ensure that every stage is carried out meticulously so that the construction results are truly ready to be utilised according to the set targets,” Diana said.
The Ministry of Public Works is optimistic that, with the synergy of all parties, the People’s School Phase II construction can proceed well and provide real benefits for the community and the nation’s next generation.
For information, the People’s School aims to break the chain of poverty through decent and quality education and to prepare students with competitiveness so that the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision can be achieved.

The People’s School has a vision of creating change agents in every poor family through quality education to break the transmission of poverty, with a mission of providing quality education to prepare for further education.
