Deputy Minister of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Purwadi Arianto inspected the readiness of Jasa Marga Tollroad Command Center personnel in Bekasi today. Purwadi opined that the preparedness of JMTC staff in handling the homecoming traffic flow is quite good, especially since this traffic monitoring is technology-based.

“All decisions taken here are based on data, all systems are integrated, so I am confident that the government’s presence in organising the homecoming traffic can be effective and efficient,” Purwadi stated in a written remark on Wednesday (18/3/2026).

The Ministry of PANRB serves as the national coach for public services, including transportation services. This inspection was to assess the readiness of the traffic monitoring and control system during the Nyepi Day and Idul Fitri holiday period.

The 2026 Nyepi and Idul Fitri holiday season cannot be separated from the role of personnel in controlling traffic flow. During this period, Jasa Marga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC) plays a primary role in public services in the transportation sector. Monitoring to decision-making in the field is based on the data they possess and manage.

Purwadi conveyed that his team wants to ensure that traffic information can be delivered quickly, accurately, and easily accessible to the public. On the other hand, Purwadi also highlighted how Jasa Marga responds to public reports.

Coordination among relevant parties has also been underway to support smooth traffic.

“All this is done thanks to coordinated cooperation, both operational cooperation and infrastructure sector cooperation,” Purwadi explained.

Purwadi also appreciated the Jasa Marga personnel for maintaining smooth traffic flow. He advised that information to the public must be conveyed quickly, accurately, and easily understood.

Jasa Marga, as the operator, is expected to be able to anticipate density and minimise traffic disruptions.

Purwadi also advised the public to comply with traffic rules and update traffic information from officers or credible communication channels.

“We invite the public to actively provide input through official channels as part of improving the quality of public services,” he concluded.
