Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Applauds Solidarity and Innovation of Jambi Local Government

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto has expressed his appreciation for the solidarity among regional leaders and the various innovations developing in Jambi Province. According to him, harmonious relationships between regional leaders serve as essential capital in supporting the functioning of government and the implementation of various programmes that impact the community.

“Jambi relies on the solidarity of the leaders here—the Governor with the Mayor, the Mayor with the Deputy Mayor, and also with the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD); this is a good example,” Bemma told reporters after attending a dinner at the Jambi Mayor’s official residence, as reported on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.

In addition to leadership solidarity, Bima also commended the various innovations developed by the local government in Jambi. He noted that these breakthroughs demonstrate the local government’s commitment to providing real benefits to the community. One particular area of focus was a programme implemented by the Jambi City Government.

“Jambi is full of innovation and creativity, where the Mayor has taken significant steps, such as the ‘Kampung Bahagia’ (Happy Village) programme, where the Mayor oversees priority programmes to benefit the citizens of Jambi. This is something else that can be emulated,” Bima explained.

He emphasised that a region’s success is not measured solely by the number of programmes implemented, but by the tangible impact felt by the people. Therefore, he encouraged Jambi’s local government innovations to produce measurable development achievements.

“We are waiting for these innovations to show results, particularly in terms of figures: how much Regional Original Income (PAD) increases, how much poverty decreases, and how many jobs are created, so that other regions can follow suit,” he stated.

Bima expressed hope that the spirit of collaboration and innovation established in Jambi can be maintained and serve as an inspiration for other regions in driving impactful development for the community.

“So, congratulations to the people of Jambi; hopefully, this togetherness can be preserved,” he concluded.
