Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot Tanjung inaugurated 107 administrator and supervisory officials within the Ministry of ESDM to strengthen organisational performance and good governance, supporting the execution of duties and public service.

“Today’s inauguration is a rotation and organisational refreshment to further enrich technical experience in order to pass on the baton of leadership,” Yuliot said at the Ministry of ESDM in Jakarta on Wednesday, 17 June 2026.

In his directives, Yuliot stressed the importance of integrity and discipline as fundamental values that every state apparatus must firmly uphold in carrying out the mandate of their office and realising a professional, accountable, and high-performing bureaucracy.

He asserted that the oath-taking was not merely ceremonial, but a sacred promise to God Almighty and the state that carries a moral responsibility in the execution of daily tasks.

“As newly inaugurated officials, I entrust several important messages to serve as your guide,” Yuliot said. “First, instil and apply the core value of ‘Berakhlak’ as the basic foundation in working, providing excellent, friendly public service free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN).”

Secondly, Yuliot emphasised maintaining discipline and integrity, as well as enhancing capacity and always being adaptive to face the rapidly changing dynamics of the world. He also reminded them of the importance of loyalty to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the state, and the government.

“Be steadfastly loyal to the leadership and always ready to implement the policies that have been established,” Yuliot said.

Furthermore, Yuliot highlighted the strategic role of the Ministry of ESDM in realising and implementing the Astacita vision, particularly points two and five. These involve strengthening the national defence and security system and promoting national self-reliance through self-sufficiency in food, energy, water, the creative economy, the green economy, and the blue economy. “As well as continuing downstreaming and industrialisation to increase added value domestically,” he stated.
