Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Inaugurates 107 Officials to Strengthen Ministry Performance

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot inaugurated 107 administrator and supervisory officials to strengthen organisational performance and good governance, in support of task execution and public service.

“Today’s inauguration is a rotation and organisational refreshment to further enrich technical experience in order to pass on the baton of leadership,” Yuliot said at the Ministry of ESDM office in Jakarta on Wednesday.

In his directives, Yuliot emphasised the importance of integrity and discipline as fundamental values that every state apparatus must uphold in carrying out the mandate of their office and in realising a professional, accountable, and high-performing bureaucracy.

He stressed that the oath-taking was not merely ceremonial, but a sacred promise to God Almighty and the state that carries a moral responsibility in performing daily duties.

Secondly, Yuliot continued, maintain discipline and integrity, and enhance capacity while always being adaptive to face the rapidly changing dynamics of the world.

Yuliot also reminded officials of the importance of loyalty to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the state, and the government.

He further underscored the strategic role of the Ministry of ESDM in realising and implementing Astacita, particularly points 2 and 5, namely strengthening the national defence and security system and promoting national self-reliance through self-sufficiency in food, energy, water, the creative economy, the green economy, and the blue economy, while continuing downstream processing and industrialisation to increase domestic added value.
