Deputy Minister of Cooperatives Ensures Lampung KDMP Manager Competency Exam Proceeds According to Standards
Bandarlampung (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Cooperatives (Wamenkop) Farida Farichah has assured that the implementation of the competency examination for Managers of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KDMP) in Lampung province is proceeding according to the set standards.
“Technically, we have already inspected it; the participants in the third session are taking the exam. Everything is running according to the standards and procedures that have been established,” said Deputy Minister of Cooperatives (Wamenkop) Farida Farichah in Bandarlampung on Monday.
She stated that all facilities and preparations for the KDMP Manager competency examination have been carried out well in Lampung province.
“Then, the participants in the fourth session earlier have been well facilitated in the transit room for registration. All these procedures have been designed in such a way to welcome the arrival of the community, who are young people aged 35, showing extraordinary enthusiasm to participate in advancing the Merah Putih Village Cooperative,” she said.
She continued that the examination implementation at various locations is designed to ensure the comfort of the participants, so that all processes can run smoothly.
“These participants come with good intentions to contribute to the Merah Putih Village Cooperative; therefore, all procedures are made orderly and facilitated properly to avoid any electrical issues, Wi-Fi problems, and to ensure comfortable rooms. And it is ensured that they are well served because earlier they entered in an orderly manner; this is all part of our technical preparation, which we have taken seriously,” she said.
She explained that participants who pass the competency test must meet the standards as a manager, capable of managing the managerial system of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative. Because the manager position will oversee several workers such as drivers, shop heads, assistant managers, and cashiers.
“The manager must coordinate with the Merah Putih Village Cooperative board, as there are board members, supervisory council, and members who are inseparable entities. Thus, we need a manager with sufficient quality leadership, because in addition to managing business operations, they must coordinate with the existing entities in the Merah Putih Village Cooperative,” she added.
According to her, another primary duty that must be undertaken by the Merah Putih Village Cooperative Managers is to carry out their work professionally and oriented towards the set targets.
“Secondly, because this is a business entity, it must be oriented towards targets professionally, as there are achievement targets that must be met,” she said.
