Deputy Minister Dahnil Brings 20 Notes on 2026 Hajj Implementation to Prabowo

President Prabowo Subianto held an evaluation meeting on the implementation of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage at his residence in Hambalang on Wednesday (17/6/2026). There are 20 improvement points planned to be reported to the president. “So, he (the president) wants to see and hear about the improvements related to the implementation of the Hajj so far,” said Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak before the meeting, in front of the gate of Padepokan Garuda Yaksa. Dahnil explained that the implementation of the Hajj is indeed a concern for the president. “Many, many. So, there are about 20 improvement points that we are making and they will be conveyed to the President,” said Dahnil. However, he stressed that the president’s directive is to organise the Hajj well, as it is a dream for the majority of Muslims. “Everything, everything. What is clear is that Mr Prabowo wants to facilitate the dream of Muslims, which is to perform the Hajj, so that it can run well. That is the important note,” he said.
