Deputy Investment Minister Todotua Pasaribu Appointed as Pertamina's Vice President Commissioner
Deputy Investment Minister/BKPM Todotua Pasaribu has been appointed as Vice President Commissioner of Pertamina. The appointment was made during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for Pertamina's 2024 financial year, held at Grha Pertamina, Jakarta, on Thursday, 12 June 2025.
At the AGMS, in addition to evaluating the company's performance, shareholders also made changes to Pertamina's Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors.
The AGMS appointed new members of Pertamina's Board of Directors: Oki Muraza as Vice President Director, Jaffee Arizon Suardin as Director of Logistics and Infrastructure, Agung Wicaksono as Director of Transformation and Business Sustainability, and Andy Arvianto as Director of Human Resources. Meanwhile, M. Erry Sugiharto, who previously served as Pertamina's Director of Human Resources, has been reassigned as Director of Business Support.
The AGMS also made changes to Pertamina's Board of Commissioners, appointing Todotua Pasaribu as Vice President Commissioner and Nanik S. Deyang as Independent Commissioner.
**Profile of Todotua Pasaribu**
Todotua Pasaribu holds an engineering degree from Trisakti University, which he attended from 1998 to 2003. Born in Palu on 14 January 1980, he was active in student organisations during his university years, serving as Chairman of the Industrial Engineering Student Association for the 2001-2003 period. He has also been a member of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association since 2011.
Todotua began his career in 2005 as Operational Manager at PT Jagat Energy, where he served for four years until 2009. In 2012, he became a Director at PT Chatura Indonesia, a position he held until 2023. He has also served as Director at PT Thopas Artha Nauli since 2016, a company engaged in management services and development of new factories across various sectors, including cement, oil and gas, mining, and power generation.
Since 2021, Todotua has led Bomba Group, an investment holding company, as Chief Executive Officer. The company invests in trade, plantations, mining, property, energy, contracting, and logistics in South Sumatra Province.
Todotua entered politics by joining the ranks of supporters for the Prabowo-Gibran candidacy during the 2024 presidential election. He was elected as Deputy Secretary of the National Campaign Team (TKN). After Prabowo won the 2024 presidential election, Todotua was appointed as Deputy Investment Minister in the Kabinet Indonesia Maju.
In line with Prabowo's leadership mission regarding investment, Todotua has pursued strategies to foster a controlled investment climate, including cutting bureaucratic barriers, accelerating industrial downstreaming processes, and formulating investment policies that support economic advancement.
