Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Deputy Head of BKPM Todotua Pasaribu has revealed that despite positive growth trends in downstreaming sector investment, a number of fundamental challenges must be addressed to ensure the programme's sustainability.
According to Todotua, the primary challenge lies in securing genuine commitment to engaging in a comprehensive downstreaming process. He also highlighted the potential for stagnation should industry players merely stop at the stage of processing raw materials into basic manufactured products.
