Deputy Interior Minister Visits, Bogor Mayor Suddenly Asks Civil Servant to Call Colleague Working from Home
Bogor - The Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A Rachim, suddenly asked a civil servant (ASN) of Bogor City, West Java, to contact their colleague who was working from home (WFH). This occurred while Deputy Interior Minister (Wamendagri) Bima Arya visited the Mayor’s office on Friday (10/4/2026). Initially, Bima, along with Dedie and the Bogor City Government team, inspected the Regional Secretariat Building to check on ASN working from office (WFO). This was done to monitor the implementation of the first day of WFH in Bogor City. The ASN called their colleague three times, but the calls were not answered. Suddenly, there was a WhatsApp video call from the previously contacted ASN. Seeing this, Bima praised the ASN. “Good job, keep up the spirit. The Mayor will add to the performance allowance,” said Bima while giving a thumbs up. “I already checked in earlier, sir. I also checked in the WA group,” said the ASN. Several journalists then confirmed with Bima regarding the ASN who did not answer the phone despite three calls. Bima said that the ASN might not have answered because they were in the toilet. “It was answered in the end, right? Maybe they were in the toilet. Finally, they called back,” said Bima when confirmed by journalists in Central Bogor.
