Deputy Interior Minister (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto is encouraging public participation in overseeing the implementation of work from home (WFH) for civil servants (ASN) every Friday. Residents can report ASN who leave their homes during WFH through local reporting channels or by uploading to social media. “If not, just post on social media, it’s fine to viralise it,” said Bima Arya in Central Bogor, Bogor City, on Friday (10/4/2026). “Then the Mayor or Department Head can call at any time. Earlier, we even did a video call to check if everyone is present; if not, there will be consequences, so the oversight is tiered internally,” he added. Head of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Bogor City, Dani Rahadian, explained that the implementation follows central government regulations. ASN implementing WFH must perform attendance three times by sending selfies. He detailed that ASN attendance during WFH is divided into 07.00 - 07.30 WIB, 13.00 - 13.30 WIB, and 16.30 - 17.00 WIB. According to him, these three attendances are a step to monitor the implementation of WFH for ASN in the Bogor City Government environment. Attendance must be done at the ASN’s home and match the coordinates on the available application. “There’s the LEGASI application that we use every day for clocking in and out. It’s called Work From Home, so it can’t be done anywhere other than home,” he said. For information, ASN in the Bogor City Government environment carry out WFH specifically every Friday in a week. This is contained in Circular Letter (SE) Number 800.1.5/1633-BKPSDM Year 2026, Regarding Adjustment of Employee Work Mechanisms for Budget Efficiency and Energy Savings in the Bogor City Government Environment.
