The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government topped the provincial category with a score of 71.78, followed by Tabanan Regency Government in the regency category with 73.11, and Sabang City Government in the city category with 72.88,” said Wiyagus in his presentation at the launch of the Anti-Corruption Education Guide and Teaching Materials (PAK) together with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Central Jakarta, on Monday (11/5/2026). Wiyagus hopes that all Regional Governments can continue to improve systems to enhance educational integrity. This effort is aimed at improving the quality of education in Indonesia. “All Regional Governments are urged to carry out concrete and measurable improvements to increase national educational integrity. Currently, the KPK is conducting the Education Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI) across Indonesia to map the integrity conditions in the education sector,” he explained. For this reason, he asked all Regional Governments to synergise in improving SPI Education scores in their respective regions. One of the focuses is also to disseminate anti-corruption education from an early age. “The first is to immediately prepare derivative regulations in the regions, whether in the form of regional head regulations or other technical instructions, to encourage and ensure the implementation of anti-corruption education by utilising the available anti-corruption education guide and teaching materials,” he stated. The second is to integrate anti-corruption education into the school curriculum. This can be included either intra-curricularly or extra-curricularly, by reviewing anti-corruption education regulations in each region. “And making updates or changes if necessary, to ensure the implementation of anti-corruption education in all provinces, regencies, and cities throughout Indonesia,” he continued. Furthermore, Wiyagus instructed all regional heads and education office heads to report the results of anti-corruption education implementation. This has been carried out through the KPK’s platform. “Then strengthen the role of the Regional Inspectorate to monitor and evaluate the implementation of PAK in educational units,” he said.
