Jakarta - Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Republic of Indonesia, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, reminded Hajj officials for 1447 Hijriah or 2026 to prepare their mental and physical condition during their 70-day duty in the Holy Land.

On Friday (17/4/2026), Dahnil served as the inspecting officer at the Send-off and Briefing Ceremony for Hajj Service Officials (PPIH) 1447 Hijriah or 2026 CE for Airport and Madinah Liaison Officers.

“On average, your stay in Saudi Arabia or in the Holy Land, whether in Madinah or Makkah overall, can reach 70 days. Ensure you can manage it well mentally and physically,” Dahnil said in front of the Hajj officials.

“Therefore, mental preparation and managing mentality is an important matter, besides of course the trainings we have as officials so far, ensuring physical readiness is the first and foremost thing,” he stated.

Although they have undergone PPIH training, Dahnil still reminded that physical and mental strength also need to be balanced with spiritual strength.

“I want to remind us all to be able to prepare mental readiness, manage emotions, manage spirituality so that our physical strength is then supported by spiritual strength that is ready,” he added.

“Your ready response is a hope. Your ready response is a debt that we must then fulfil when carrying out duties in the Holy Land,” he further said.

Therefore, the Deputy Minister of Hajj asked the Hajj officials to strengthen their hearts with good intentions that this duty is carried out for worship to serve Allah’s guests.

“Intend today’s send-off, strengthen the conviction that we all want to fulfil worship through the path of Hajj officials. We want to serve Hajj pilgrims. We want to ensure the success of the Republic of Indonesia’s Hajj mission,” he stated.
