Deputy Defence Minister Appreciates South Sulawesi Provincial Government for Hosting ASN Reserve Component Training

Deputy Minister of Defence (Wamenhan) Donny Ermawan expressed appreciation for the readiness of South Sulawesi (Sulsel) as the pioneer in implementing the State Civil Apparatus Reserve Component (Komcad ASN) for 2026. Sulsel became the first provincial government (pemprov) in Indonesia to launch the Komcad ASN programme.

“Congratulations to South Sulawesi for becoming the pioneer because no other provincial government has done so yet. This activity is being carried out for the first time by the Province of South Sulawesi,” he said after the Inauguration and Appointment of 500 Komcad ASN of Sulsel at Karebosi Field, Makassar City, on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

Donny admitted to being amazed by the extraordinary readiness of South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, the people of Sulsel, and the ASN employees in the Sulsel provincial government. He explained that the Ministry of Defence has officially designated the Sulsel Komcad ASN.

In the coming days, his side will also close and designate the Komcad ASN at the central government level, which will be held in Jakarta. “So we are simultaneously carrying out the formation of the Reserve Component, which is currently being implemented from ASN,” said Donny.
