Deputy Commander of TNI Inspects Construction of Yonif TP 842 Infantry Battalion in Pandeglang

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Deputy Commander of the TNI, General Tandyo Budi Revita, inspected the construction of the Territorial Development Infantry Battalion (Yonif TP) 842/Badak Sakti in Pandeglang Regency, Banten, on Friday (5/6), to ensure the readiness of facilities supporting soldiers’ duties in assisting the public.

According to a press release from the TNI Information Centre (Puspen) received in Jakarta on Saturday, the visit is part of the TNI’s efforts to support national development through the strengthening of defence, economic empowerment, and infrastructure development.

“This visit reflects the TNI’s commitment to assisting local governments in integrating defence strengthening, economic empowerment, and infrastructure development to support the acceleration of national development and improve community welfare,” the press release stated.

The delegation inspected several facilities supporting the soldiers, including training areas, kitchens, and rest quarters.

Additionally, Tandyo inspected the readiness of personnel stationed at the Yonif TP 842/Badak Sakti headquarters. He assessed that the headquarters facilities and the readiness of the troops are progressing well.

Through this inspection, he expressed hope that the soldiers of Yonif TP 842/Badak Sakti and the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperative would be increasingly prepared to support village development and assist in strengthening the local economy.
