Depok (ANTARA) - The Depok City Transportation Agency (Dishub) in West Java is developing a new corridor for the Biskita Trans Depok service to improve public transportation and alleviate traffic congestion in the city by adding new corridors. The Head of the Transportation Division of the Depok City Transportation Agency, Aan Syurahman, stated in Depok on Saturday that the Biskita Trans Depok service currently serves one corridor, namely the route from Terminal Margonda to Harjamukti LRT Station. He explained that in the future, the Depok City Government will add several new corridors, including Corridor 2 with the route from Sawangan to Terminal Depok. In addition, Corridor 3 is being prepared with the route from Permata Depok (Citayam) to Terminal Jatijajar. “These routes were selected based on studies and the community’s needs for integrated public transport services that reach wider areas,” he said. The Depok City Transportation Agency has also coordinated with the Ministry of Transportation regarding the plan to develop the service. “This year, hopefully, the management can already operate optimally,” he added.
