Depok Trans Set to Add Routes: Sawangan-Depok Terminal and Citayam-Jatijajar
According to the Depok City Government website, the Head of Transportation at the Depok City Transportation Agency, Aan Syurahman, stated that this is aimed at improving public transportation services while reducing congestion in the city area. Currently, the BisKita Trans Depok service only serves one corridor, namely the route from Margonda Terminal to Harjamukti LRT Station. Aan explained that in the future, the Depok City Government proposes the addition of several new corridors, including corridor 2 with the route from Sawangan to Depok Terminal. In addition, corridor 3 is being prepared with the route from Permata Depok (Citayam) to Jatijajar Terminal. “The addition of these corridors is part of the local government’s strategy to reduce traffic density and encourage the public to switch to mass public transportation,” said Aan, as seen on the Depok City Government website, Sunday (3/5/2026). “These routes were selected based on studies and the community’s needs for integrated and more extensive public transport services,” he added. The Depok City Transportation Agency has also coordinated with the Ministry of Transportation regarding the planned development of these services. Once the management process is complete, the BisKita Trans Depok service will be managed by the Depok City Government. “This year, hopefully the management can already run optimally,” he said.
