Depok to increase its subdistricts

DEPOK: To enhance public service in the municipality, Depok
officials are planning to increase the number of subdistricts
from six to 11 in 2006.

T.B. Erhan Faturrahman, the chief of autonomy development in
the Depok municipality, said Depok subdistrict offices were in
many of the cities growth areas.

He said Sukamaju would be partitioned into Sukamaju Baru and
Sukamaju; Pancoran Mas into Pancoran Baru and Pancoran Mas;
Cimanggis into Cimanggis Baru and Cimanggis; Sawangan into
Sawangan and Bojong Sari; while Limo would be split into Limo and
Cinere subdistricts. --Antara
