Police are still working to identify the suspected perpetrator in the murder of a female teacher named Arifianti (41), whose body was found lying on a road in Tlajung Udik Village, Gunung Putri District, Bogor. The suspect remains the subject of an ongoing search by investigators.

“The perpetrator is still being sought,” said Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief AKP Anggi Eko Prasetyo on Monday (31/8/2026).

Anggi said his team is currently continuing to carry out investigative efforts. A number of measures are being taken by investigators to pursue the perpetrator.

“We are checking, efforts are still being made,” he said.

The case is currently being handled by the PPA/PPO Unit of the Bogor Police. However, investigators from the Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit are also assisting in the pursuit of the perpetrator.

Police have already obtained the identity of the suspected murderer of a female teacher named Arifianti (41), whose body was found lying on a road in Tlajung Udik Village, Gunung Putri District, Bogor. The perpetrator is currently being pursued by police.

“There is already a description of the suspected perpetrator, and he is being chased,” said Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto on Wednesday (10/12/2025).

Wikha explained that the suspected perpetrator is the person who last met the victim. He is the person who reportedly gave the lifeless victim a ride on a motorcycle.

“The suspected perpetrator is likely the last person to have met her before she was found dead,” he said.

The victim was found dead lying on the roadside in Tlajungudik Village, Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, on Saturday (6/12). When found, the victim’s hands were bound and she was wearing a blue raincoat.
