Depok Mutilation Suspect Also Targeted Victim's Motorcycle, Police Say

Investigators from the Polda Metro Jaya have uncovered new facts in the case of a murder and mutilation in Pancoran Mas, Depok. The suspect, Saepullah (26), has been found to have a digital footprint showing his involvement in a gay community group. However, police have emphasised that this is not the primary motive behind the heinous crime. Based on the investigation, the suspect’s main intention was economic gain, specifically to steal the victim’s motorcycle and other belongings. The suspect has been officially named and faces charges of premeditated murder under Articles 459 and 458 of the Criminal Code.
