Depok City Government has implemented a work from anywhere (WFA) policy for civil servants (ASN) from 25 to 27 March 2026. This policy is applied during the period of national holidays and joint leave for Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr. The provision is contained in Circular Letter (SE) Number 800/121/Org/2026 on Adjustments to the Implementation of Official Duties for ASN within the Depok City Government. The letter was signed by Depok Mayor Supian Suri on 6 March 2026. Acting Head of BKPSDM Depok, Endra, assured that the WFA policy will not disrupt public services. “Public services will remain available; WFA on 25, 26, and 27 March 2026,” said Endra when confirmed on Wednesday (25/3/2026). Technical arrangements for implementation are delegated to the respective heads of regional device organisations (OPD). Each OPD head is requested to arrange flexible employee task divisions, considering the number of employees and the characteristics of services in each agency. “Therefore, all OPD heads need to pay attention to the following matters, namely the optimisation of the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in the OPD,” states the SE. In addition, the government will conduct monitoring and supervision to ensure services remain optimal during the WFA period. “For services that apply shift/rotating work hour provisions, the service hours need to be rearranged and services must still be provided in accordance with service standards,” as stated in the SE.
