Depok City Launches 2026 SPMB School Admissions: Registration Schedule for Primary, Secondary, and Kindergarten

Depok City’s Education Department has officially launched the 2026/2027 academic year New Student Admission System (SPMB). Preliminary registration will be conducted simultaneously on May 22-23, 2026, for all education levels. Bahrudin of the Depok City SPMB 2026/2027 committee stated that this year’s admission mechanism differs from previous years. He explained that only the preliminary registration phase will be held simultaneously, with the main registration stages following each education level’s respective schedule. ‘This year, only preliminary registration is open simultaneously. Other stages follow each level’s schedule. For junior high school (SMP), Stage I registration runs from May 28 to June 17, 2026,’ Bahrudin said on Tuesday (May 26, 2026), according to the Depok City government’s official website. Full schedule: Registration for all tracks for kindergarten (TK) and primary school (SD) runs from June 22 to July 4, 2026. Re-registration for all levels is scheduled for July 9-10, 2026. Admitted students must report in person with original documents. The new academic year begins July 13-18, 2026. A total of 12,763 junior high school graduates from 34 schools have been recorded.
