Depok City Government is offering a programme to waive fines on Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) by up to 100 per cent. This policy targets taxpayers with arrears, particularly old taxes, while encouraging public compliance. The programme is implemented by the Depok City Government and refers to Mayor’s Regulation Number 68 of 2022. Head of the Regional Financial Agency (BKD) of Depok City, Nuraeni Widayatti, stated that the fine waiver for PBB is provided for the tax years 1994 to 2011. This policy presents an opportunity for residents with long-standing arrears to settle their obligations with a much lighter burden. “Taxpayers simply need to register an account on the Depok City E-PBB website, then select the online application menu, choose the fine waiver option, and submit the application. Everything can be done from home,” Nuraeni explained. The Depok City Government encourages the public to utilise this programme to resolve tax arrears. “We invite Depok residents to immediately take advantage of this opportunity to settle their tax obligations with substantial relief,” she concluded.
