Depok Baznas Distributes IDR 512 Million in Humanitarian Aid for Palestine

Depok (ANTARA) - The National Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Depok City, West Java, has distributed global humanitarian aid amounting to IDR 512 million for the people of Palestine. Endang Ahmad Yani, Chairman of Baznas Depok City, stated in Depok on Wednesday that the aid represents the trust from the people of Depok City, who have a high level of concern for their brothers and sisters in Palestine. “Alhamdulillah, this IDR 512 million in humanitarian aid is a form of solidarity and concern from the people of Depok City for the people of Palestine,” he said. Endang hopes that this aid can help ease the suffering of their brothers and sisters who are facing a humanitarian crisis. “We extend our utmost gratitude to all donors and the people of Depok City who have participated and shown real concern for Palestine. May every aid given become a good deed and bring blessings to all,” he added. Through the distribution of this aid, Baznas Depok City hopes that the spirit of humanitarian solidarity continues to grow in society and serves as a strengthening of moral support and real assistance for the people of Palestine. Sodik Mudjahid, Chairman of National Baznas, appreciated the steps and concern of the people of Depok City through Baznas Depok City in helping the humanitarian struggle for Palestine. “This aid is proof that the spirit of brotherhood and concern from Indonesian society towards Palestine remains very strong. We appreciate Baznas Depok City along with all the people who have contributed to this humanitarian action,” Endang stated.
