The Denpasar Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) has carried out an operation to remove billboards, banners, posters, flags, pamphlets, and signboards installed in public facilities on Wednesday (29/7). The enforcement action covered several main roads in the Denpasar area, including Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Jalan Raya Puputan, Jalan Sudirman, Jalan Diponegoro, Jalan Teuku Umar, and Jalan Surapati.

Head of Denpasar Satpol PP, Anak Agung Ngurah Bawa Nendra, stated that during the operation, his team removed a total of 200 advertising structures, comprising 52 pamphlets, 78 banners, 59 posters, 8 flags, and 3 signboards.

“This enforcement is part of our efforts to maintain order, cleanliness, and the beauty of public facilities. Furthermore, we are ensuring that the installation of information or promotional media does not disrupt the public interest or the aesthetics of the urban area,” said Bawa Nendra.

He urged the public and parties installing advertising structures to pay attention to the established regulations and designated installation locations. This is considered important to keep public spaces orderly, clean, safe, and comfortable for the community.

Bawa Nendra also emphasised the commitment of Denpasar Satpol PP to providing services to the public transparently and with integrity. All types of services and follow-ups on complaints through the Denpasar Satpol PP GARBASITA system are free of charge.

“To maintain the integrity of all personnel, we affirm that we do not accept gratuities in any form. If members of the public find any party requesting something on behalf of Denpasar Satpol PP, please report it via the GARBASITA WhatsApp Bot at number 081337338326, by including authentic evidence,” he stressed.

Denpasar Satpol PP also invited the entire community to jointly maintain order in public facilities and to play an active role in submitting complaints if they discover violations or practices misusing the name of Denpasar Satpol PP. “This step is expected to strengthen collaboration between the government and the community in creating a Denpasar City that is orderly, clean, safe, and comfortable,” he said.
