Mayor of Denpasar I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara presented the Accountability Report (LKPJ) for the 2025 Fiscal Year during a plenary session of the Denpasar City Council on Wednesday (25/3/2026). The presentation covered achievements in programmes and activities, challenges faced, handling measures, implementation of strategic policies, and follow-up on previous Council recommendations. In his presentation, Jaya Negara noted that several macroeconomic indicators showed improvements in 2025. Denpasar City’s Human Development Index (IPM) was recorded at 85.63 percent. “Denpasar City’s IPM achievement for 2025 is 85.63 percent, ranking highest in Bali Province,” stated Jaya Negara on Wednesday (25/3/2026) via press release. The poverty rate also fell from 2.59 percent to 2.16 percent. In the health sector, life expectancy increased from 75.80 years in 2024 to 76.49 years in 2025. This was similarly the case with developments in education, health, and meeting the basic needs of Denpasar City’s residents. From the regional finance perspective, regional revenue was targeted at Rp 3.38 trillion and realised Rp 3.56 trillion, or 105.13 percent.
