• Registration & Verification: 22 - 25 June 2026 (09:00 - 13:00 WITA). Registration and verification can be conducted offline at the target school or online via https://spmbsd.disdikporadps.id/.
• Announcement: 29 June 2026 (09:00 WITA). Announcements can be accessed offline at the target school or online via the official website.
• Re-registration: 30 June - 3 July 2026 (09:00 - 13:00 WITA). Accepted candidates are required to re-register offline at the respective school by submitting a Re-registration Statement Letter.
What are the 2026 Primary School Admission Requirements in Denpasar City?
The SPMB Committee has established several mandatory requirements for new students. These requirements are divided into two categories: general requirements applicable to all applicants and specific requirements based on the chosen admission pathway.
General Requirements for 2020 SPMB SD
Prospective students aged 7 (seven) to a maximum of 9 (nine) years as of 1 July 2026 will be prioritised.
Minimum age of 6 (six) years as of 1 July 2026.
An exception to the minimum age of 6 years is granted for students aged at least 5 years and 6 months as of 1 July 2026, provided they demonstrate: potential intelligence and/or special talent, and psychological readiness evidenced by a written recommendation from a professional psychologist or authorised party.
In the case of professional psychologists, recommendations may also be provided by the school’s teaching council.
Grade 1 primary school candidates are not required to undergo reading, writing, or arithmetic tests, or any other form of competency test.
For orphans (Yatim/Piatu) registered under a different Family Card (KK), a Death Certificate of the parent or a Divorce Certificate must be attached.
A written statement limiting applications to a maximum of 3 (three) primary schools must be provided.
A written statement regarding the validity of the student’s documents must be submitted.
Specific Requirements for 2026 SPMB SD
The 2026 SPMB Committee has opened three admission pathways: the Domicile pathway, the Affirmation pathway, and the Mutation/Transfer pathway.
Domicile Pathway Requirements
Intended for students residing within the zones established by the government.
Possession of a Birth Certificate/Birth Statement issued by the authorised party and legalised by the local village head (Lurah/Kepala Desa) according to the student’s domicile.
Possession of a Denpasar City Family Card (KK) issued by the Denpasar City Population and Civil Registration Office, issued no earlier than 1 June 2025.
The student’s status in the KK must be as Child, Other Family Member, and/or Grandchild.
Prior Kindergarten/RA education is not required.
Affirmation Pathway Requirements
Intended for students from low-income families and/or students with disabilities.
Possession of a Birth Certificate/Birth Statement legalised by the local village head.
Possession of a Denpasar City Family Card (KK) issued no earlier than 1 June 2025.
The student’s status in the KK must be as Child, Other Family Member, and/or Grandchild.
Prior Kindergarten/RA education is not required.
For students with disabilities, proof must be provided via a Recommendation Letter from the Denpasar City Disability Service Centre, an authorised specialist doctor, or a clinical psychologist, along with a statement that the student is undergoing therapy or developmental assistance.
Must be registered in the Denpasar City Social Services database as a low-income family, evidenced by the National Socio-Economic Single Data Service (DTSEN) introductory letter.
Mutation Pathway Requirements
Intended for students moving due to the transfer of duties of parents/guardians, and for children of teachers applying to the school where the parent teaches.
Possession of a Birth Certificate/Birth Statement legalised by the local village head.
Possession of a Family Card (KK).
Prior Kindergarten/RA education is not required.
Evidence of parent/guardian duty transfer.
