The Bali Police Narcotics Directorate (Ditresnarkoba) has arrested a 28-year-old drug dealer with the initials MMT. The man was caught hiding methamphetamine in several snack wrappers on Jalan Buluh Indah, North Denpasar, on Tuesday evening (4/8/2026).

Head of Public Relations for the Bali Police, Commissioner Ariasandy, stated on Thursday (6/8/2026) that officers discovered the illicit goods concealed in an unusual manner. Police ambushed MMT at the location and immediately searched his belongings. Witnessed by local residents, officers opened several snack packages stored in the dashboard of the suspect’s motorcycle.

From the right dashboard, police found a Beng-beng snack wrapper containing four packets of methamphetamine with a net weight of 19.04 grams. Meanwhile, in the left dashboard, a Qtela snack wrapper was found to contain a coffee sachet holding 10 packets of methamphetamine weighing a total of 29.04 grams net.

During interrogation, MMT admitted to storing more drugs at his residence. The team then proceeded to search his boarding house on Jalan Panji, Dalung, North Kuta, Badung Regency. There, officers discovered a bag containing a Jin Xuar Teea brand Chinese tea packet, inside which was a large package of methamphetamine weighing 74.12 grams. An additional 0.50 grams of methamphetamine was found inside a sunglasses case.

In total, 18 packets of methamphetamine with a combined net weight of 123.26 grams were seized. MMT confessed to obtaining the drugs from an individual called Tomblos. The suspect and all evidence, including two mobile phones, were taken to the Bali Police Narcotics Directorate office for further investigation.
