Registration Requirements for 2026 SMP SPMB in Denpasar City
The SPMB committee has established several mandatory requirements for prospective students. These are divided into general requirements applicable to all applicants and specific requirements based on the chosen admission pathway.
General Requirements
Maximum age of 15 (fifteen) years as of 1 July 2026, according to Family Card (KK) data.
Submission of a Statement Letter regarding the validity of the student’s documents.
For orphans (Yatim/Piatu) listed under another Family Card, a Death Certificate of the parent or a Divorce Certificate must be attached.
For students with disabilities, a recommendation letter from the Denpasar City Disability Service Centre, an authorised specialist doctor, or a clinical psychologist must be provided, along with a certificate stating the student is undergoing therapy or developmental assistance.
Specific Requirements
The 2026 SPMB committee has opened four admission pathways: Domicile, Affirmation, Achievement, and Mutation/Transfer. Each pathway has distinct requirements:
Domicile Pathway Requirements
• Must possess a Denpasar City Family Card (KK) issued at least by 1 June 2025 by the Denpasar City Disdukcapil.
• The prospective student’s status in the KK must be as Child, Other Family member, and/or Grandchild.
• Possession of an Elementary School (SD) diploma or Graduation Certificate (SKL).
Affirmation Pathway Requirements
• Must possess a Denpasar City Family Card (KK) issued at least by 1 June 2025 by the Denpasar City Disdukcapil.
• Possession of an Elementary School (SD) diploma or Graduation Certificate (SKL).
• Must be registered in the Denpasar City Social Services database as an underprivileged family, evidenced by a DTSEN introductory letter.
Achievement Pathway Requirements
General Academic Category:
• Graduates of SD in Denpasar City with a Denpasar or external City Family Card (KK) issued by the local Disdukcapil at least by 1 June 2025.
• Possession of an SD diploma/SKL.
• Possession of academic achievement certification (District/City/Provincial/National/International levels) issued no earlier than June 2026 and no later than 3 years prior to registration.
Academic Ability Test (TKA) Category:
• Graduates of SD in Denpasar City with a valid KK.
• Possession of an SD diploma/SKL.
• Possession of a TKA certificate issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education for the year 2026.
Non-Academic Category (Puja Tri Sandya and Panca Sembah):
• Graduates of SD in Denpasar City with a valid KK.
• Possession of an SD diploma/SKL.
• Possession of a certificate/award for the Puja Tri Sandya and Panca Sembah competition at the Denpasar City level, issued no earlier than June 2026 and no later than 3 years prior to registration, issued by the Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia Denpasar City.
Non-Academic Category (Puja Utsawa Dharma Gita):
• Graduates of SD in Denpasar City with a valid KK.
• Possession of an SD diploma/SKL.
• Possession of a certificate/award for the Utsawa Dharma Gita competition at the Denpasar/Bali/National level, issued no earlier than June 2026 and no later than 3 years prior to registration.
