Demutualisation Imminent: Indonesia Stock Exchange to Hold Extraordinary General Meeting on 28 October 2026
PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) has announced the convening of an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) on 28 October 2026. The RUPSLB had previously been postponed due to the pending completion of Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations.
This announcement serves as the latest update following previous notifications sent to shareholders on 14 August 2026 and a subsequent correction on 31 August 2026.
“The Board of Directors hereby informs Shareholders that the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) of BEI will be held on Wednesday, 28 October 20CK26,” the announcement stated on the BEI website on Tuesday (29/9/2026).
The formal summons for the RUPSLB will be delivered to Shareholders via registered mail and the BEI website on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.
Shareholders entitled to attend the RUPSLB are those whose names appear in the BEI Register of Shareholders as of Monday, 12 October 2026, at 5:00 PM WIB.
As a matter of information, the agenda for the BEI RUPSLB was originally scheduled for 15 September 2026. The President Director of BEI, Jeffrey Hendrik, stated that the delay of this significant agenda was due to the wait for the issuance of the OJK Regulation (POJK).
“It has been postponed until the POJK (regarding demutualisation) is issued; we will study it once the POJK is released,” said Jeffrey when met at the BEI Building, Jakarta, as reported on Tuesday (15/9/2026).
