Demonstrators or provocateurs?

From Media Indonesia

Demonstrations are on the increase, and the protests on May 25
and May 26 on Jl. Salemba culminated with the burning of vehicles
belonging to the military.

The belief has been that the state would improve the fate of
the small people and provide a better life. The reality is far
different. On the contrary, life has become increasingly
burdensome, as people struggle to subsist.

Ironically, the demonstrations were held by senior students
who will become the nation's leaders in the future with the
mandate to uphold justice and create prosperity.

I wonder why they resorted to setting fire to state-owned
property, which is in fact people's property. The property
happened to belong to the military.

Was there any good reason to damage it? I wish to call on
provocateurs to be wiser in dealing with the country's affairs in
the effort to attain peace and prosperity for the people as a
whole. Let us make this nation a great one and eradicate
suppression of the people by those in power. Please be
conscientious and aware of the problems that need addressing.
