Demonstration at DPR This Afternoon: Check Alternative Routes to Avoid Traffic

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A protest action is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (21/4/2026) at 13:00 WIB in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta. Crowds from the Aliansi Rakyat Menggugat (ARM) are expected to fill the area. A combined force of 378 police personnel has been prepared to secure the demonstration. Authorities are also preparing situational traffic engineering, adjusted to conditions on the ground. “Residents can seek other alternative routes during the protest,” said Erlyn, as quoted by Kompas.com on Tuesday (21/4/2026). Several roads around the DPR, such as Jalan Gatot Subroto and the Simpang Semanggi area, are likely to experience congestion.
