Demonstrating Solid Performance After Rebranding, ACES Confident in Reaching 2026 Targets
One year after rebranding to AZKO, PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk (ACES) has demonstrated increasingly solid financial performance throughout the first half of 202<0xC2>6, remaining on track to meet its year-end targets. This strategic move has led the company to record an increase in profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity of 33.3%, reaching Rp390.3 billion compared to the same period the previous year.
ACES also recorded net sales of Rp4.5 trillion, representing a 6.3% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
Director of PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk, Gregory S. Widjaja, stated that the company’s positive performance reflects business development moving in a better direction. This aligns with AHI’s commitment to building sustainable long-term growth.
“We will continue our efforts to present innovation, increase operational efficiency, and develop business capabilities to provide added value for customers and all stakeholders, while simultaneously strengthening the Company’s position in the Indonesian retail industry,” said Gregory.
The strong performance of AHI, which oversees the AZKO and NEKA brands, was supported by a Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG) of 2.2% year-on-year as of June 2026. Various strategic initiatives also supported this growth, such as the AZKO BOOM SALE and the enhancement of customer experience through an omnichannel approach.
In line with market growth opportunities, AHI targets the opening of 25 to 30 AZKO stores and 40 to 50 NEKA stores throughout 2026. As of August 2026, AHI has recorded the opening of 15 AZKO stores, reaching nine new regions, including Berau, Pasuruan, Pekalongan, Timika, Kuningan, Tabanan, Tomohon, Baubau Buton, and Duri Riau, as well as 16 NEKA stores across Java and outside Java.
Gregory stated that to support business development, the company will allocate capital expenditure (CapEx) of Rp400-450 billion in 2026. As of the first half, CapEx realisation reached Rp91 billion, prioritised for opening new stores and renovating existing ones. Gregory emphasised that the company will realise a larger portion of investment towards the end of the year to support growth.
Beyond providing closer solutions for the community, the opening of new AZKO and NEKA stores also supports job creation in various regions. This is because more than 50% of the workforce in each store is sourced from the local community.
“The presence of AZKO in various new regions also helps create jobs through the absorption of more than 50% local labour. Additionally, we are sustainably running social and environmental initiatives through the provision of cleaning equipment for public facilities, such as places of worship and schools around store operational areas,” Gregory explained.
Furthermore, AZKO is also making efforts to strengthen customer engagement through various experience- and community-based activities. From June to July 2026, AZKO expanded its customer interaction points across generations through participation in the Jakarta Fair (PRJ), live shopping activities, morning broadcasts with several popular radio media, and involvement in sports communities such as padel, running, and yoga.
Through these activities, customers and communities can interact with and directly try various AZKO sports products. Meanwhile, through the presence of a booth for one of its home brands, Kindla, at the Mom and Baby Expo, AZKO provided a more interactive product experience and reached relevant target markets.
“Moving forward, the Company will continue its long-term growth strategy through the development of the store network, strengthening supply chain capabilities, utilising digital technology and AI, and enhancing the customer experience to support sustainable business growth,” said Gregory.
For the record, with every new store expansion, AZKO brings a more modern, fresh, and complete shopping experience through product collections from various home brands, such as KRISBOW, KRIS, KLAZ, STORA, SOLEIL, OTTO KLASSE, and various other leading brands that cannot be found in other retailers.
Customers can also enjoy a more inspiring store concept, supported by flexibility, ease, and the benefits of shopping through omnichannel services, ruparupa, including features such as Scan & Shop, Scan & Go, the ruparupa rewards membership programme, and access to millions of products within the Kawan Lama Group ecosystem.
