PT Sarinah has presented a series of activities to mark Ramadan, infused with a spirit of togetherness and care that touches various segments of society. These include diverse sharing and educational initiatives, culminating in the facilitation of free homecoming journeys.

“All these initiatives form part of Sarinah’s commitment to delivering real benefits during this meaningful moment,” said PT Sarinah’s President Director, Raisha Syarfuan, in her statement on Wednesday, 18 March 2026.

One of the main programmes being revived is Mudik Nyaman Bersama, as part of the 2026 BUMN Free Homecoming programme. Through this activity, Sarinah facilitates the public in returning to their hometowns more safely and comfortably to celebrate the festive togetherness of Eid with their families.

The departure of the homecomers took place on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, with 91 passengers sent off using two buses to Yogyakarta and Surabaya. The send-offs were conducted from two departure points: Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) in Jakarta for the bus to Yogyakarta, and the Sarinah Thamrin Building in Jakarta for the bus to Surabaya.

Raisha stated that this programme represents the company’s commitment to continually providing benefits that can be directly felt by the community.

“Through the Mudik Nyaman Bersama programme, Sarinah hopes to help the public undertake their homecoming journeys with greater peace of mind and comfort, so that the moments of gathering with family can be experienced more meaningfully,” said Raisha.

In addition to providing transportation, Sarinah also equipped the homecomers’ journeys with travel insurance, goodie bags, and assistance to support comfort during the trip.

To broaden the social impact during Ramadan, Sarinah previously held the Ngabuburit Ceria event at Pipilaka, organised on the 5th floor of Sarinah Thamrin. This activity involved more than 200 pupils from SDN Kampung Bali 07 and SDN Kebon Sirih 04 in Central Jakarta, offering an educational and enjoyable pre-iftar experience for the children.

Furthermore, Sarinah implemented the Bestie Share Bestie Care initiative, a campaign to collect funds and channel donations to communities around the company’s operational areas. More than 100 grocery packages have been distributed as a concrete form of care and solidarity during the holy month.
