Demonstrating an Upturn in Sales, Astra Daihatsu Re-launches the Daifit Programme in 2026
Over the past three years, car sales have fallen nationally. Nevertheless, at the start of 2026 there has been a trend of rising sales for several Astra Daihatsu brands. Based on the total car data for Yogyakarta City, there is an upward trend in sales. For Pick Up (Gran Max Pick Up-Red) the increase reached 30 percent compared with the same month in 2025. This is something we must be grateful for,” said the Head of Astra Daihatsu Yogyakarta Branch, Eko Setyawan, at a media gathering in Yogyakarta on Friday, 6 March 2026.
Other Astra Daihatsu brands such as Sigra, Xenia, and Ayla have also shown rising trends. Specifically for Pick Up, Eko attributed the increase to the need for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme recently rolled out by the government. “The MBG programme has made Pick Up vehicles popular as a mode of food delivery, with the Gran Max Mini Bus also in high demand,” Eko added.
Nevertheless, Eko hopes the uptick is not solely due to external government policy influences. Therefore, internally, Astra Daihatsu is strengthening programmes that have been in place for years, one of which is the Daihatsu Idul Fitri (Daifit) programme. This year, Daifit enters its fourth year of operation. Daifit 2026 will run from 1 February 2026 to 30 April 2026. Since its first edition in 2023, Daifit has arranged for 27 customers to travel to the Holy Land to perform Umrah.
Not only does Daifit offer an Umrah prize, the programme also provides ease in owning a Daihatsu car. Among the conveniences are a straightforward credit process, easy access to Daihatsu outlets, and maintenance for vehicles through Daihatsu’s official workshops that are easily reachable in various regions.

During Ramadan and ahead of Idul Fitri this year, Astra Daihatsu also has two flagship programmes: Tebar Hemat Ramadhan (THR), which provides benefits for Daihatsu Sahabat who service in preparation for the balik mudik journey, and Astra Siaga Lebaran (ASL), where Astra provides mudik and balik posts with safe and comfortable resting facilities, supported by service & parts from the Astra automotive group.
