Demonstrate Long-Term Commitment as a Partner of Istiqlal Mosque, Le Minerale Again Shares Ramadan Kindness
Ramadan is often a moment to strengthen faith as well as to share kindness with others. In this blessed month, the spirit of sharing is not only a form of worship but also a tangible expression of social concern that benefits the community. Le Minerale has again organised charitable activities during Ramadan in the area of Istiqlal Mosque, reinforcing its commitment as a long-term partner of Istiqlal Mosque.
In addition to distributing aid to worshippers, Le Minerale is said to have supported various programmes at Istiqlal. These include empowering micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the revamp of the Istiqlal culinary area, the umrah marbut programme, scholarships for high-achieving marbut children, and support for various religious programmes at Istiqlal.
Chief Executive of Istiqlal Global Fund, Ahsanul Haq, said that the synergy between Istiqlal Mosque and Le Minerale forms part of strengthening the mosque’s role in building the community’s self-reliance, while being a synergy rooted in a shared vision. ‘This partnership reflects the synergy between religious institutions and domestic industries owned by the nation, in building a sustainable ecosystem of good that reinforces the value of mutual cooperation, solidarity, and helps empower the community,’ he said in a press release received by Kompas.com on Thursday 5 March 2026.
He added that for the Istiqlal Global Fund, the collaboration realises the mosque’s function not only as a place of primary worship but also as a space for muamalah (business and social transactions) within non-worship.
Ahsanul also referred to meetings between large industries such as Le Minerale and the Mayora Group with MSMEs nurtured by IGF within the Istiqlal environment. ‘The meeting between large industries such as Le Minerale and Mayora Group and IGF-nurtured MSMEs within Istiqlal Mosque builds great hope to make the mosque a centre for empowering the economy of the ummah,’ he said.
He added that in building a synergistic and productive bond, Le Minerale as a business group under the Mayora Group has developed various programmes together, including the development and coaching of MSMEs around Istiqlal Mosque and the MSMEs of worshippers.
Masjid Istiqlal, he continued, appreciated Le Minerale as a preferred partner for the cooperation that has been consistently forged. ‘We value Le Minerale’s commitment to supporting various empowerment programmes at Istiqlal. As the state mosque that serves thousands of worshippers daily, we have a responsibility to provide the best services, including supplying high-quality and trusted mineral water, especially in the holy month,’ he said.
To meet basic needs that are both high quality and trusted, Le Minerale is described as the preferred product for worshippers’ needs during breaking fast.
This year, Le Minerale again distributed 5,000 bottles of Le Minerale and meal packages for the Istiqlal Mosque’s iftar. The event was part of a series entitled ‘Together with Istiqlal, Le Minerale Shares Ramadan Kindness’ held in the forecourt of Istiqlal Mosque on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.
Le Minerale Marketing Director Febri Satria Hutama said the collaboration is part of the company’s commitment as an Indonesian-owned product to continue delivering sustainable benefits. ‘Le Minerale’s presence is not only about supporting activities but also as a partner in Istiqlal’s long journey, which stands as a beacon of light and pride for Indonesia’s Muslim community and a symbol of national unity. Primarily, in delivering social, economic, and environmental impact for society,’ he said.
Through this collaboration, Le Minerale and Istiqlal Mosque hope the sharing spirit between religious institutions and the business world during Ramadan can continue to foster care and strengthen togetherness in society.
