Democrat: SBY and AHY Constantly Remind Cadres There Are Already Too Many Problems Today
Jakarta — The Democratic Party’s Central Executive Board (DPP) has disclosed messages from its top leadership, Chairman of the High Council Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and General Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), which are regularly conveyed to party cadres. ‘Mr SBY, Mr AHY keep reminding us that there are already too many problems. There are too many problems today,’ said Herman Khaeron at the Democratic Party headquarters in Pegangsaan, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Thursday, 21 May 2026.
‘Therefore, SBY and AHY are urging Democratic cadres to participate as part of the solution to various national problems, rather than adding to them. ’This is to produce the best solutions for the nation and the state, whose ultimate aim is that the people can feel the benefits across all aspects, which will certainly improve their welfare and happiness,’ he said.
‘He also noted that both war and diplomacy influence global economic and political conditions. ’The country must be present at every national issue, in every matter affecting the people, and the people must feel the country’s success. If that is so,’ he added.
‘Consequently, the Democrats argue that steps must be taken to mitigate the impact of the global situation so that Indonesia is not overly affected.’
