Demer warns Bali DPRD's TRAP Special Committee over overlapping powers

Gde Sumarjaya Linggih, a member of Commission VI of the DPR RI from the Golkar faction representing Bali and also the chairman of the Bali Golkar Provincial Office, Demer, criticised the Bali DPRD’s Special Committee (Pansus) on Spatial Planning, Regional Assets and Permitting (TRAP) for what he described as an overly narrow focus on the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (KEK) managed by PT BTID at Serangan. He argued that Bali currently faces serious problems related to widespread spatial planning violations that impact the environment and can trigger natural disasters, including floods. However, these issues have not been given top priority in the TRAP Pansus discussions of the Bali DPRD.”
