Delpedro and Colleagues Cleared in Incitement to Demonstration Case, Urge Prosecutors Not to Appeal

Delpedro Marhaen Rismansyah, Executive Director of the Lokataru Foundation, has urged the public prosecutor’s office not to appeal the acquittal of himself and three colleagues in the alleged August 2025 demonstration incitement case. This request followed the decision of the panel of judges at the Central Jakarta District Court, which found that he together with Muzaffar Salim, Syahdan Husein, and Khariq Anhar were not proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt in the matter. In addition, Delpedro expressed appreciation to the panel for considering the principles of human rights, democracy, and freedom of expression in its ruling.
