Deloitte Indonesia (Deloitte) has successfully raised more than Rp170 million through Deloitte Runify 2026. This fitness and wellbeing activity was attended by over 600 Deloitte employees, clients, partners, and community members.

Participants completed distances of five kilometres (km) or ten km as a collective action to create a positive impact for communities across various regions in Indonesia. Held at Plaza Sudirman, Gelora Bung Karung, with a route traversing Jakarta’s Car Free Day (CFD) area, the event raised funds through ticket sales and donations. The collected funds will be used to support educational programmes for students from underprivileged communities.

Building on the success of previous years, Deloitte Runify 2026 reinforces Deloitte’s commitment to making a meaningful impact beyond the workplace. This activity is part of the WorldClass Deloitte initiative, which aims to expand opportunities through education and skills development for communities worldwide.

Brian Indradjaja, Indonesia Leader and President Director of PT Deloitte Konsultan Indonesia, stated that the event demonstrates the significant impact that can be achieved when people unite to support a common goal.

“We are very proud of the impact Deloitte Runify has made for communities across various regions in Indonesia. This year, we wanted this event to reflect Indonesia’s forward direction—a future marked by technology, sustainability, and shared purpose. Every participant, including Deloitte employees, clients, volunteers, supporters, and donors, has contributed to something much larger than just a running event. Together, we are helping to expand access to education for Indonesia’s younger generation while paving the way for various future opportunities. The enthusiasm and generosity of all parties involved reflect a shared commitment to supporting society and building a brighter future for Indonesia,” Brian said in a written statement on Monday (1/9/2026).

Deloitte Runify 2026 is part of the broader Impact Month 2026 programme, which encourages employees to contribute to meaningful activities through volunteering and donations. This year, five charity runners from Deloitte collectively covered 1,038 km throughout the month as part of their support for the programme. In line with the WorldClass commitment, Deloitte is also executing its WorldClimate agenda through various initiatives that promote more sustainable practices.

As part of these activities, Deloitte collaborated with Jejakin to measure the carbon footprint of Deloitte Runify 2/026, including emissions generated from participant activities, transport, and event operations. The carbon footprint produced by this event will be offset through mangrove planting as part of long-term environmental conservation efforts. Deloitte also organised an e-waste donation drive, inviting employees to give a second life to unused electronic devices to prevent them from ending up in landfills.

In collaboration with Olah Plastic, plastic and electronic waste collected from Deloitte offices was processed into various creative and functional event elements, including finisher medals, stage elements, photo walls, and art installations. Additionally, 50 Deloitte employees participated in an upcycling workshop, transforming unused computer keyboards into keyrings. This activity served as a way for participants to learn about the concepts of the circular economy and responsible e-waste management.

Balim, Growth Leader at Deloitte Indonesia, stated that sustainability becomes meaningful when realised through concrete action. “Sustainability becomes meaningful when it moves from intention to action. Through Impact Month 2026, our employees have shown how creativity, collaboration, and small daily choices can create a larger impact. By giving a second life to unused keyboards, plastics, and electronic waste, we are not only reducing waste but also promoting a mindset of responsible consumption and the circular economy. This is the essence of our WorldClass and WorldClimate commitments: uniting employees to create a lasting positive impact for both the environment and society,” he said.
