Defense attaches visit Aceh

BANDA ACEH, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam: A group of foreign
military attaches visited on Thursday the war-torn province of
Aceh.

The group of attaches, including those from Australia, Japan
and Britain, was the first to visit the province in the past
year.

"We have no mission. We want to see the situation in Aceh,"
said Japanese defense attache Sumio Nagai. But he added that the
21-strong group could not see "the real situation" because their
visit was limited to several towns. -- AFP
