DEFEND ID SOE Reports 430.1% Surge in Net Profit for 2025

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - State-owned enterprise DEFEND ID reported a consolidated net profit of Rp913.05 billion for 2025, a significant increase of 430.1% compared to Rp172.24 billion in 2024. The profit was driven by business revenue of Rp20.71 trillion, supported by operational efficiency improvements, strengthened business performance, and optimal management of strategic projects across all business entities.

In 2025, the company recorded positive performance with total contracts reaching Rp113.85 trillion, comprising Rp94.78 trillion in carryover contracts and Rp19.07 trillion in new contracts.

Director General of PT Len Industri (Persero), Holding DEFEND ID, Prof. Joga Dharma Setiawan, Ph.D., stated that the company’s 2025 achievements laid a crucial foundation for strengthening Len’s position as a national strategic technology company.

“The positive performance achieved in 2025 stems from business transformation, strengthened synergy within the defence industry ecosystem, and the commitment of all company personnel to advance national technology independence,” he said, citing the official website on Friday, 29 May 2026.

The company’s fundamental strength is reflected in a 18.3% increase in total assets to Rp66.05 trillion compared to the previous year, while total equity rose 8.2% to Rp15.23 trillion, indicating strengthened financial structure and business capacity for DEFEND ID Holding.

Beyond financial achievements, the company’s health rating stands at BBB+, indicating a stable financial condition, strong business prospects, and support for sustainable growth in the future.

DEFEND ID is supported by 11,022 employees, over 60% of whom work in production and engineering. This composition reflects strong manufacturing capabilities and technological expertise, forming the foundation for developing the national defence industry.
