Defence Minister confirms RSPPN pharmaceutical facilities ready to serve the public

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin confirmed that the pharmaceutical facilities at the Soedirman National Defence Central Hospital (RSPPN) in Jakarta are fully equipped and ready to serve the public, following a visit to the hospital on Tuesday (7/7). In a post on his Instagram account @sjafrie.sjamsoeddin on Wednesday, the minister was seen accompanied by RSPPN officials and the Head of the Maintenance and Repair Agency of the Ministry of Defence, Vice Admiral TNI Supo Dwi Diantara. ‘The existence of these defence pharmaceutical facilities is an important part of supporting fast, accurate, and high-quality healthcare services for soldiers, Ministry of Defence employees, the wider defence family, and the entire community,’ Sjafrie stated in the photo caption. The uploaded photos showed Sjafrie and TNI officials visiting several facilities within the hospital, though the specific facilities inspected were not detailed. The minister also took time to greet TNI officials serving at the Ministry of Defence-owned hospital. At the end of the visit, he received a briefing from Vice Admiral Supo regarding the pharmaceutical facilities at RSPPN. Sjafrie expressed hope that his visit would motivate RSPPN staff to continuously improve the quality of healthcare services for military families and the general public. ‘The Ministry of Defence continues to encourage the strengthening of the defence health ecosystem as part of national readiness in facing the country’s various strategic needs,’ he said.
