Dedi Mulyadi Serves as Marriage Witness at Depok KUA, Each Bride and Groom Receives Housing Down Payment Savings
A simple marriage programme took place at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Bojongsari Subdistrict, Depok City, on Tuesday (21/04/2026). Five bride and groom pairs participated in the event, hailing from Depok and several other areas.
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi was present at the venue. He was accompanied by Depok Mayor Supian Suri, who also served as a marriage witness.
Each couple received a Rp 5 million savings account for a house down payment or deposit. In addition, there was assistance in the form of household appliances.
Dedi stated that the savings could not be withdrawn freely. The funds could only be used for purchasing or repairing a house.
“Announcement: just now, the director of Bank BJB messaged via WhatsApp to give a gift in the form of savings for future house down payments. Each family will receive Rp 5 million in savings, along with a refrigerator and a washing machine from PDAM,” said Dedi Mulyadi, quoted from the official Depok City Government website.
“So, the money cannot be taken out, except later for the agreement to buy or for house down payment. If it’s just left and taken, it will be gone tomorrow. For those who already have a house, it can be used for home renovations,” he added.
After the marriage contract, the brides and grooms also received their ID cards and Family Cards.
A total of five couples participated in the event, originating from Depok, South Tangerang, Bogor, and Bekasi.
The second pair: Deru Saputra bin Muhammad Yamin from Parung Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, and Aigita Rianti binti Ahmad Junaidi from Duren Seribu Ward, Bojongsari Subdistrict, Depok City.
The third pair: Sailan bin Nyamin from Duren Mekar Ward, Bojongsari Subdistrict, Depok City, and Nurul Rahmadani binti Agus Sofani from Duren Mekar Ward, Bojongsari Subdistrict, Depok City.
The fourth pair: Fairuz Sofwan Kamil Alfati bin Marwan from Bojongsari Baru Ward, Bojongsari Subdistrict, Depok City, and Siva Salshabila binti Samsudin from Sawangan, Depok City.
The fifth pair: Eko Suprianto bin Radiman from Sawangan Subdistrict, Depok City, and Ratu Rindi Aprilina binti Rembyung from Bekasi City.
