Dedi Mulyadi Offers Rp250 Million Bounty for Capture of Taufik Hidayat

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has expressed deep concern over the alleged false imprisonment and torture of a 26-year-old woman, Yuvita Tri Rezeki. The victim is reported to have sustained serious injuries across her body, with the governor noting the particularly distressing condition of her eyes, which has led to a loss of vision. Dedi identified a 30-year-old man named Taufik Hidayat as the suspected perpetrator, who is currently being sought by law enforcement. ‘I am furious with a male perpetrator like this. I am confident that the West Java Police team will be able to apprehend him quickly,’ Dedi stated via his Instagram account on Monday (23/6). To expedite the search, the governor announced a reward of Rp250 million for anyone who can provide accurate information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts to the authorities or assist in his capture. He called on residents of West Java and all Indonesian citizens to participate in helping the police locate the suspect, believing that public involvement can accelerate the legal process and deliver justice for the victim. The police are continuing their manhunt and have urged the public to submit any information through official channels.
