Dedi Mulyadi Deposits Rp1 Billion for Medical Treatment of Abuse Victim
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi visited Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) in Bandung to check on the progress of YTR, 29, a victim of confinement and abuse perpetrated by Taufik Hidayat. During the visit, Dedi Mulyadi, accompanied by West Java Provincial Health Office Head R. Vini Adiani Dewi, met with approximately 14 doctors and the RSHS team from various medical disciplines in the MCHC Auditorium. “The main focus is to see the progress and future medical plans. God willing, the West Java Provincial Government will accompany her until she recovers,” he stated. RSHS President Director H. Rachim Dinata Marsidi said the provincial government has deposited Rp1 billion at RSHS for YTR’s recovery. “This month we are focusing on eliminating the infection because we cannot operate if the infection is still present; she will not heal,” he explained. Rachim noted that a schedule has been made for the patient’s healing, including her face and legs. He estimated YTR’s recovery process will take one year.
