Dede Yusuf Urges Realisation of Integrated National Single Data System

Population administration and civil registration services are being urged to strengthen data accuracy while ensuring public services and social assistance are better targeted. The matter emerged during a Facilitation of Population Registration through Mobile Outreach Services event at the West Bandung Regency Government Complex, Building B, 4th Floor, recently.

Deputy Chairman of House Commission II Dede Yusuf, speaking at the event, highlighted the problem of inaccurate social assistance data collection, which remains a challenge on the ground. According to him, discrepancies between beneficiary data and the actual condition of communities are still easily found.

“There are still residents whose lives are extremely deprived, yet they have never received any assistance. Conversely, those classified as well-off are actually recorded as aid recipients,” Dede said in a press release in Jakarta on Wednesday (19/8/2026).

Dede stated that the problem is partly caused by the absence of an integrated and accurate national single data system. For Dede, inter-agency data integration is essential so that the government has a unified picture of community conditions.
