Decomposed Body Found in Vacant House in Tanah Sareal, Bogor

A man’s body was found lying in a vacant house in Kayumanis Village, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City, West Java. The body was discovered by a Wi-Fi technician. Bogor City Police Public Relations Head, First Inspector Imam Dwi, stated on Saturday that the witness reported finding a corpse in the empty house. The discovery occurred around 12:30 PM Western Indonesian Time. He explained that the witness then called residents after finding the man’s body. The witness and others checked together and saw the figure of a male corpse lying face down, shirtless, and already emitting a foul odour. After confirming the presence of the body, the witness reported the incident to the police. Officers subsequently arrived at the location to process the crime scene. From initial checks, police learned that the deceased was a resident of Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. The body is planned to be taken to Bogor City Regional General Hospital.
