Debris Cleared Following Fire at Pullman Hotel

Officers are currently clearing debris following a fire at the Pullman Hotel, West Jakarta, on Saturday (1/8/2026). A total of 14 fire engines and approximately 70 personnel were deployed to extinguish the flames, which are suspected to have been triggered by an electrical fault on the second floor of the building. The exact cause remains under investigation by the authorities. Once the fire was successfully extinguished, officers proceeded to clean the affected area while ensuring there were no remaining hotspots that could potentially trigger a secondary fire.
